Previous visits to other Hard Rock Cafe’s around the world have been a bit hit and miss but my sister has never been so we popped in.įirstly it was really cold. I visited this restaurant at lunch time while in town with my sister. There was some redemption from one of the store workers who did acknowledge our daughter’s birthday & who gave her a discount on the jumper she bought with her birthday money. Including still giving a generous tip considering the let downs, it was the most disappointing $200 we’ve spent on a Hard Rock experience. The chicken tenders too are normally very juicy bits of chicken but there was more batter than chicken on this occasion and they were placed conveniently to try and disguise the very cold fries underneath. Sadly however it took 15mins to come out by which time the rest of us had eaten and were ready to go. We had this replaced as Josh our server did say they were not supposed to be burnt. My daughter’s all American sliders were burnt - so burnt we tried to cut off the outter layer of meat so she would eat it without complaint but it was too hard a knife would not cut through it. In the end it was the food that was the most disappointing. It was busy so we are glad at least we reserved as walk ins were being turned away. so know how they usually mark someone’s birthday and wanted to surprise our daughter with this experience to but it wasn’t to be. My wife and I have been to Cafe’s around the world. We made a reservation for our daughter’s milestone 13th birthday and but it clearly on the reservation it was for this purpose but this sadly wasn’t acknowledged nor marked by HR in any way.

On the way down we saw all the people on the 4th floor. So, I know they have ran other people away. Apparently we were on the 5th floor.LOL!! Someone would have to police the area because the sign is small print and it's easy to miss it. So folks be warned make sure you go to the 4th floor. I did not see it until she pointed it out. See the sign and she starts reading it to me. But then I hear her say "you can't take photos up here.

I thought she was going to ask me for directions. I am excited, tired and glassy eyed, and walking ahead of my hubby so I get to the location first and pull out my cell phone but before I could get a photo a lady runs over. Now keep in mind this is after a 6 hour flight- time change and lots of walking. By the way we did not count the floors on our way up just walking around and enjoying our time. And, noticed the floors and we see where we could get a clear shot on a higher floor. So, we go to the Mall and see the view of the Hollywood Sign.

Well on the day of our arrival in Hollywood-LA we checked into our hotel and walked about 2 miles to see some sights we were tired and excited. I saw many reviews instructing folks to take pics from the 4th Floor of the Hollywood & Highland Mall.
